Rafael dos Santos is a postdoctoral fellow at the Graduate Program in Mental Health at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto (FMRP-USP), where he also works as an accredited advisor. He is a researcher at the National Institute of Science and Technology: Translational Medicine (INCT/CNPq) and at the Cannabinoid Research Center at FMRP-USP.
His research interests revolve around pharmacology, with an emphasis on psychopharmacology, and works mainly on the following topics: psychoactive drugs, hallucinogens, cannabinoids, serotonin, glutamate, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, substance-related disorders, and mental health.
